This two-day training includes:

♦ Review research that supports the need for prevention with HIV positives
♦ Identify prevention needs of HIV positive individuals
♦ A brief overview of the main components of cognitive-behavioral theories used in
HIV interventions
♦ Review techniques used to achieve behavior change and skills building
♦ Highlights of interventions found to be effective with persons living with HIV
♦ Practice and discuss selected exercises and activities from interventions
♦ Review upcoming interventions for persons living with HIV
♦ Discuss different approaches to using evidence based interventions for persons living with HIV
